Business Development Manager - Transfusion & Cell Therapy

Our product portfolio included a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies and clinical nutrition products as well as the medical devices for administering these products. Our Transfusion and Cell Therapy (TCT) Division is committed to advancing patient care with cutting-edge devices and solutions that support safe and effective blood management. We are currently looking for a motivated and driven National Sales Representative to oversee the sales of innovative medical devices within our TCT product portfolio. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday and we are flexible on the candidate's location.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead national sales efforts for the Aurora Plasma Device, Compomat G5+ Blood Presses, Catsmart Cell Salvage Device, Blood Storage Bags and Blood Pooling Kits
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market penetration and drive growth across key accounts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and procurement departments
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and provide technical support for customers
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
  • Collaborate with the marketing and clinical teams to tailor sales approaches and develop effective promotional materials
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and new product features

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in medical device sales, ideally within transfusion medicine, cell therapy, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare environment and experience selling to hospitals, clinics, and blood centres
  • Experience with high-value, complex sales cycles and technical products is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Ability to travel nationally as required for customer meetings, trade shows, and conferences
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Healthcare) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in transfusion and cell therapy is a plus
