Head of Sterility Assurance & Quality Control

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sterility Assurance & Quality Control to join our Quality team. You will be leading the Sterility Assurance & Quality Controol teams for the UK, ensuring compliance to regulatory and procedural requirements and providing technical expertise, guidance and support to aseptic compounding on all Sterility Assurance and Quality Control aspects. The role is full-time, Monday - Friday and is based at our Head Office in Runcorn, Cheshire.

• Provide a strategic plan and expertise for the development and implementation of the site Contamination Control Strategy and Quality Control plans
• Support and lead the Quality Control and Sterility Assurance teams providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members
• Manage the development and maintenance of Sterility Assurance and Quality Control documents including SOPs and specifications
• Stay current on regulatory developments and industry trends related to Quality Control and Sterility Assurance and incorporate best practices into the Sterility Assurance and Quality Control processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that relevant activities are integrated into project plans and timelines
• Provide expertise with Sterility Assurance knowledge, practices and awareness as part of the developing culture for the site
• Assess facility and quality systems’ state of compliance with internal & Fresenius Kabi corporate requirements and appropriate regulations

• Must possess a scientific degree or an equivalent
• Must have prior experience in a Sterility Assurance and/or Quality Control role
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience of line management is essential
